Reflection
I have learned about the importance of the blog, internet and the power of media. Other than that, I have learned different types of new media such as moblogging, photoblogs and vlogs that I never learn before.
I have read what Kress & van Leeuwen (2006), Webber (2005), Nielson(1997), Lannon (2006) and Reep, Diana C. (2006) and I learned lots from there. It makes me have better understanding to the issues that related with issues publication and design.
The knowledge of the blog give me more opportunity and useful in the future.
Email etiquette for the internet users

Byron (2008) stated that using email by mistaken would harm the relationship among people such as employees or friends. The proper type of email etiquette should be learn or train in the company or learn it by practice in order to respect people all around the world. According to Dawn Rosenberg Mckay, email is the most popular in internet activities. Almost 88% of the internet users in the U.S use email to communicate with each others. From the survey, approximately 90% of the internet users access to business email during work.
As we know, the number of people using email is those using business communicate with their business partner. But email not only use for business purpose but also use for boss, colleagues, clients and prospective employers. According to Dumbrava & Koronka (2006), they stated that email cannot convey emotion because lack of vocal inflection, gesture and shared environment. The receiver must be identified on which specific relationship to adjust the language and tone. But formal email should only be writing to companies or clients.
Email can be judge by good and bad but it is a good email when the writer able to know who are they writing for. By judging the relationship with the receiver is to judge whether write a formal or informal email.
According to McKay (2010), some of the writer writes email with poor grammar and misspellings. Other than that, some writer sends email with shorthand such as “Can U plz send info on careers?” This kind of communication skills should only appear in instant messaging but not write to someone you never meet. Therefore, the writer should be cautious with the writing email skills by using correct words, emotions, formal and informal and use the right skill in the right time.

New media Ecosystem & Multimodality, Audience Expectations for new generation! Apple Ipad!
Apple product had release new product that is iPad after iPhone. iPad is a new device that play as normal computer with smaller space comparing with normal computer. The function of iPad is such as portable, touch screen, operating system, internet function, gaming and long battery life. Comparing with normal computer, it is a new item that show begins of new era of media technology. This product is attractive to the new users of Apple.
According to Apple Ceo Steve Jobs, iPad is a potential product that success between smartphone and laptop. Market of iPad grows very fast and the consumers for iPad are increasing. Steve said that iPad is better than smartphone and laptop and the requirement to make this product at least must better than this two products. The function of iPad is most similar but adding new application and items to iPad is the way to attract customers to buy the product. If iPad are totally same with smartphone and laptop, the product are hard to be attract by new customers and current customer because people won’t try new product but use old product such as laptop.
According to Walsh (2006), text, video and audio must be good so that the product is completed a good product. But iPad seem doesn’t make the requirement when using internet compare with laptops. iPad used touch screen that is electronic screen so it is hard to make the product being so good in order to produce a product with a fare price. But better product should be better quality.
Even though iPad able to function same as laptop, it should be similar with laptop and better than laptop. According to Kress, V Leeuwen (1996), iPad maybe lost its niche market due that the product does not meet the requirement and it is not better than laptops.
For my opinion, iPad is a great product and it may change the technology in the future by adding more application that same with laptop and more applications. Even though that iPad doesn’t not better than laptop, but some of the function is better than it. For example: having good review for iPad than laptop. Therefore, iPad may success in the new media technology.

Hate Google background!
The Google background has made the users hate Google. It is because Google users are not familiar with the Google background or they prefer easy background or others. According to Penman (1998), the document’s functionality depends on the viewer’s thinking such as how the users expect and the habit of the users. Penman (1998) said that viewer is difference and difference background may conclude different view. Even Google are dislike by lots of users about the background, but the homepage of Google are not harm but work very well.

The picture above showed that the good image of Google but if the background of Google is too good, it will give a bad result while searching information such as internet slow or when open www.google.com, the line will slower than before.
According to Krazit (2010), the article from CNET News.com with the title Google kills background images on homepage; it stated that the background picture of Google can be pulled back within 14hours due to the complaints. Microsoft’s Bing is one of the search engines same as Google but do no complains by anyone. Some of the users or views said that Google copied Microsoft Bing’s idea but it cannot say true because Google didn’t copied 100%. According to Samantha (2010), most of the users of Google like it because Google load very fast. It because the picture of the Google search page didn’t not attempt high quality or Megabyte into it and high Megabyte with cause slow internet search to the users.
If compare Google and Bing, most of the users will prefer Google because even though the users hate the picture background of Google, but the speed of Google still are faster. According to Krazit (2010), Bing search engines just probably attracted the users by the design and colour of the homepage but Google give more idea and save more time. So, Google still number one choice for the users of internet even though the background is not good because it make the users feel useful for the tools that use by them.
